Research
Before you enter the casino, make sure that you have a basic understanding of at least one or two casino games. You can find plenty of information online and even some videos which explain how to play simple casino games such as roulette and blackjack. This is not to say that you should spend hours and hours learning about the ins and outs of casino games, but you should at the very least have an understanding of how the games work.
Quiet Tables
Croupiers are always on hand to help you out when you play casino games, but not if the table is busy as they simply don’t have time. For this reason you should look to find yourself a quiet table where you can feel relaxed about gambling, and you can ask the croupier for any help should you need it. Take a walk around the casino floor when you first enter, get your bearings, and look for a table with nobody or just a few people there.
Move Around
If you stay at a table for a long time, you will begin to feel comfortable which is of course what you are looking for, with that being said, you will only see one side to a casino if you do so. The best thing to do therefore, is to spend your first hour or two on a couple of different tables playing different games. Once you have done this, you can return to any of the tables later on, depending on what your favorite was.
Stakes
Sitting on a high roller table when you only want to bet a small amount can be embarrassing so before you sit down at a table, have a look around to see what kind of money people are gambling with. These high roller tables are also much more pressurized and if you don’t know what you are doing, you can be made to feel a little stupid. Make sure that you find a table which is more suited to your budget so that you can enjoy yourself. You will also find more people like yourself on these tables.
